Fitzgibbon Hospital's mission is to "improve the health of our community." In concert with our mission to promote health and wellness in the community, we believe that promoting a tobacco-free environment for our patients and staff promotes a message that tobacco use is unhealthy and unacceptable. We are committed to supporting our staff, patients and visitors to improving their health and facilitating a positive behavior change. Therefore, smoking, electronic cigarettes and the use of any tobacco products will not be permitted by employees, patients or visitors on the campus property of Fitzgibbon Hospital, including the Fitzgibbon Hospital building, buildings located on the campus, or any affiliated facilities of Fitzgibbon Hospital (including The Living Center, Fitzgibbon Medical Clinic, Buckner Wellness Center, Community Services, Financial Services, Mid-Missouri Family Health, Akeman-McBurney Medical Clinic, Grand River Medical Clinic and Fitzgibbon Family Health).
