Fitzgibbon Hospital announces that Deborah Herrmann, M.D. has joined the staff of Marshall Family practice, providing an outlet for her patients in the Sweet Springs and surrounding areas to continue to see their family’s doctor.
“Dr. Herrmann has been providing quality, compassionate care for many years in our community, and especially for those in and around Sweet Springs. We are very pleased to ensure sure that she will be able to continue to care for all of her patients from Sweet Springs and the surrounding areas at Marshall Family Practice,” said Darin Haug, D.O., President and CEO of Fitzgibbon Hospital, which operates Marshall Family Practice. “In addition, she also will be caring for residents in The Living Center long-term care facility on our campus and serve as the Medical Director to work alongside Administrator Stacey Winter and Director of Nursing Chris Thomas, RN.”
Dr. Herrmann received her medical degree from the University of Iowa School of Medicine in 1989 and completed both residency and internship at Lester Cox Medical Centers of Springfield, Mo. She began providing care to patients in Sweet Springs in 2006 until the hospital’s closing earlier this year. She will begin seeing patients at Marshall Family Practice on Tuesday, May 28. New and existing patients can already call and begin scheduling their appointments.
If you do not have a doctor, or would like to see Dr. Herrmann, please call Marshall Family Practice at (660) 886-7800. The hospital also offers state-of-the-art birthing suites in a Baby-Friendly environment (one of only a few hospitals in the state to be designated as such by the World Health Organization and Baby Friendly USA); advanced imaging, including 3D mammography services, Dexascan, CT scan, MRI and PET scan services and extensive rehabilitation department including physical, speech and occupational therapies including pelvic floor therapy and lymphedema therapy.
