The Fitzgibbon Hospital Auxiliary was formed in 1966 by Mrs. Charles Buckner to raise funds that are supportive to the mission of Fitzgibbon Hospital. Over the years, the Fitzgibbon Hospital Auxiliary has played an important role in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars -- not to mention countless hours of volunteer service -- to support services, equipment and wishes for a variety of special needs to our community hospital.
The goal of the Auxiliary is to support and purchase equipment and materials that are beneficial for the hospital ("Department Wish List" project) and to fund scholarships and continuing education for Fitzgibbon Hospital staff.
We have a wide variety of opportunities for volunteers to help with fundraising activities and to help in various areas of the hospital.
